We took the girls to the KC Renaissance Festival last weekend. They LOVED IT.
Tenley LOVED the animals. She tried to talk to the sheep, "baaaa! baaaaa!"
Taylor got dressed up like a real Renaissance girl. She looked very pretty.
There were several of these painted boards for picture taking. Taylor thought they were great!!

We took the girls out to dinner afterward...we got CHOCOLATE desserts. Both Taylor and Tenley got chocolate all over their faces. They thought they were hilarious and started making faces and hamming it up for the camera :)

Taylor you should be a model or a movie star! Tenley's still too young, but she should in a couple years, too! :)
Taylor--you better watch out all the renaissance knights will be swooping down to catch their lady because you are so pretty!! Did you get to ride that "horse on a rope" and use a javalin to spear the ring?--thats the only thing I remember about the renaissance festival when we went when I was a kid--wonder if it is still there?
